"I recently purchashed a 2000 FLHTCI and was treated and greeted as if I had bought a brand new bike. Heartland is exactly what most of us who ride Harley Davidsons expect from a dealership. Respect, no presure, no "bull". The entire staff was freindley and genuine. The store is packed with accessories from performance parts to nick nacks for the house. On June 19th 2008 we were on the 2nd day of our memoreial ride DAKOTA WOKAKIJE UN WICAKIKSUYAPI( a motorcycle ride in memory of the Dakota that suffered)I was on hi-way 218 north of Mt. Pleasant when a spoke broke and blew out my rear tire,we called iowa city and they told me that they could not help for a few days so we asked around and were told that burlington had a harley dealer,I called and got hold of mike in service,he said bring it over,got it there and he pulled two bikes off the lifts (another of our riders had tire problems) and got us on.I needed a new wheel and they didn't have one but one of the mechcanics had one there that had afew hundred miles on he would sell me for half price if it would work but it needed different shims to work on my ride,mike said we have a guy in back thats been here for years and he can make some and if he says they will work when he's done they will.THANKS WINK.they had us up and going in 3 hrs.I have been riding for 30+ years and shops and chin-YAYS-(brothers)like this are far and few these days.Bob Knoll the owner made us feel like we were family and said let us know when your ride is maybe we could plan something for that time. "Harley finally made a perfect motorcycle for petite/short women! Im 5'2", 110 lbs......... Its the 2008 XL 1200 Nightster. I bought one, love it & had great service from you guys in Burlington! "This dealership is fantastic! I was traveling back from the Quad City area after attending a stepbrother's funeral. I stopped in to see if they had a FATBOY I wanted, and lo and behold, there she sat! There was absolutely no pressure from the sales staff. As a matter of fact, the owner was the first to meet and greet me. People don't get that kind of treatment just anywhere. We spoke for a bi, but he had to leave, so he turned me over to one of the sales staff, who was a great fella. As I said, absolutely no pressure! None, zero, nada!
We closed a deal on my 2005 15th Anniversary FATBOY, and man, they got right on prepping it for the ride home. Only thing was, I was in my truck, but was that a problem? Not at all! The staff put her on a bike skid, and the owner himself loaded her in the back of my truck.
Now here is one of the most impressive parts of the experience. I stepped back to look in the shop while my bike was being readied for the ride home. One of the service staff came out and told me there was a little accident. He told me that while he was topping off the gas, that a little fuel was spilled on the tank. Hey, we're human right and things do happen. But the spill was noted, should anything happen to the paint, it would be taken care of. Now, is that honesty, or what? It just doesn't get any better!
I wish I could have taken it back to the dealership when I was rear ended a year ago May 8th. Because I've heard these people are the best, and that's been my experience. The other fella's insurance company forced me into a local area dealership, and all I had was grief, and four months of waiting for my bike to be repaired.
That'll never happen again, even if I have to haul my bike back to Heartland Harley.

"I have been looking for a particular Harley Davidson sweatshirt & when I phoned the Heartland Harley store in Burlington I was completely floored by their genuine helpfulness over the telephone. I spoke with a woman on the phone who was beyond helpful and gave me suggestions to finding the item. When I called back later and spoke with the general manager, I told my friend that I wanted to work for him someday. The people at Heartland Harley Davidson truly care about their customers and provided myself with a definite interest in visiting the store. "I was stranded in Ft. Madison on Saturday Aug. 12th with a dead battery. I had my 92 FXRS towed to Heartland after a phone call to see if the service department could look at it. It was a busy Saturday and Jeff said he would do what he could to get me on the road. I arrived at about 9:30 with the tow truck and Jeff got me right in and offered to get someone to take me to Perkins. I declined the ride because it was just a short walk. In 3 hours the problem was repaired enough so I could get home, and I did without any more problems. I would like to thank Jeff Reichman and his staff for helping me out on a Saturday. I don't usually give a 5 star in a survey but they deserve it.

"My friend and I rode from Las Vegas to his hometown of Burlington. We needed maintenance work when we got there (routine work)and met Landon Yard. He took excellent care of us and had the bikes ready when promised. They even washed 1800 miles worth of bugs of for us! I met the owner but I am sorry to say I cannot remember his name. He assisted me with finding a shirt for my wife. I proudly wore my Heartland Harley shirt back to Arizona. We had a safe ride back thanks to the awesome servicing done to our rides.
